Features
- State of the art scanning technology
- 42" wide.
- Monochrome scanner with 8-bit graytone capture capability.
- 9"/sec maximum scanning speed at 400 dpi.
- 0.1% +/-5 pixels accuracy over the maximum scanning width.
- High-quality scanning mode up to 800 dpi (Standard); 4800 dpi (PRO).
- Ideal for computerized, massive document archiving and filing systems.
- USB2 & IEEE 1394 dual communication ports.
- The IS200 series provides a cost-effective solution for scanning monochrome, grayscale and black & white drawings and documents in CAD, AEC and other engineering and document archiving applications. With high-speed scanning up to 9"/sec. at 400 dpi, the IS200 is also accurate to 0.1% (or +/-5 pixels over the maximum scanning width). Available in either a Standard version or PRO version, the PRO models incorporate a high-speed scanning mode for quality image output with up to 40% faster throughput than standard models at comparable resolution settings. Standard models will scan up to 800 dpi and PRO models will scan up to 4800 dpi.

- CIS vs CCD scanner CIS: Contact Image Sensor Method CCD: Magnification Optical Method All Graphtec scanners currently use the CIS sensor system, ensuring sharp, crisp and clear image reproduction. This technical advantage is further reinforced by a very accurate paper feed and hold technology. Even deep wrinkles on paper can be smoothed to provide optimal image reproduction. Graphtec scanners provide stunning high-resolution images compared to other products in the market. Graphtec scanners (CS600/500) achieve a wider color gamut using the CIS method instead of the older CCD method. CS600/500 can produce high levels of precision and accuracy, as well as a high Optical Resolution of 600dpi. These are truly state-of-the-art scanners that not only meet the needs of industries requiring precise images such as civil engineering drawings, city planning drawings and apparel paper patterns, but also satisfy the needs of the graphic arts and printing industries.

- Graphtec's high-performance color scanner driver is provided as a standard accessory. Scanning Master 21+ is easy to use, with interactive menu setups and editing functions that can be saved for later use with similar documents. A new "Scan to Print" function enables the CS series scanners to be combined with a large-format printer like the JW1000, to provide a multi-functional color copier solution. Scanning Master 21+ also allows such features as Scan-to-file, Scan-to-print, and Scan-to-Mail. To further enhance user efficiency and maintain compatibility with a variety of applications and subsequent data manipulating processes, a wide range of file formats are supported for archiving your scanned data, including Bitmap, CAD ESP, TIFF, PCX, JPEG, and PDF.
